Save our Turtles!

Hello lovelies…

I received an invitation to an event in conjunction of saving the turtle population in the sea. The event is hosted y The Department of Fisheries Melaka, Malaysia on October 1st, 2020 at the Turtle Conservation and Information Centre, Padang Kemunting Melaka.

There were 500 baby turtles and three (3) adult hawksbill sea turtles were free into the sea.

One of the sea turtle, named Puteri SunPower (Princess SunPower) is equipped with the Platform Transmitter Terminal (PTT) device which helps to track her pathways in the sea. This trekking will be used for the research purposes.

Hello lovelies…

How many of you, girls enjoy grocery shopping as much as I do?

Well… Welcome to adulthood!

In my opinion, grocery shopping is very therapeutic, especially when the store you went has everything you want.

And that’s why, friend…I chose to shop at Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G) store in Publika Mall. It’s a little bit further from my home, which is approximately 37 km but I guess, I don’t really mind about it. My happy tummy matter the most!

I wake up early in the morning and get ready for my me-time at the mall.

I arrived B.I.G store around 9.30am and start wandering at the store, looking for the things I wrote in my shopping list.

I swear the list wasn’t that long as the receipt I received during the check out!

Hmmm… That’s what you get when you spent almost three (3) hours at the grocery store, huh?

Since it already afternoon, I decided to grab my lunch at a nearby restaurant.

My! Oh! My!

There are plenty of restaurant choices in this mall! From local to western food… you named it!

I decided to go for local food at Ali Muthu and Ah Hock Restaurant. I ordered a platter of fried chicken nasi lemak with a cup of milk coffee. just as recommended by one of the waiter at the restaurant.

The food was good…but I still think that the nasi lemak at Medan Selera Presint 8 taste better 😉

Before I went home, I went to Daiso to hair accessories. I need to top up my bobby pins as it getting lesser and lesser.

By 3.00pm, I safely arrived home and dismantled all the goods from my shopping bags.

My OOTD. Don’t forget to wear a mask in public area, girls!

How are you spending your weekend, girls? Share you experienced by commenting on the box below. I would love to hear from you ❤

p/s: Can anyone please help me by giving a suggestion on a good shopping trolley? I desperately need 1 🙂

The Scholar Suites, Tanjung Malim, Perak

Hello lovelies…

I had experienced a pleasant stays at this suite while working outstation in Tanjung Malim, Perak this month. The suite is under the Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris, Perak corporation and the staffs are mainly the degree students who studied hotel management. They are as professional as the worrkers at any hotels you been stayed before…or probably better than them.

And talking about the foods…yaaassss!!! FLAVOURSOME!

I can’t talk more about the cost per night stay caused my stays were fully paid by my organization…but the accountant said they were value for money!

Am I going to come back to this suite in future?

HELL YES!

Hello lovelies…

Please be honest with me, ladies…how much do you care about your hair? As much as you care about you facial skin?

Well…I was!

I mean…why bother? I wore hijab to schools and till this current 8 to 5 job, I wear hijab to work.

I was born with a quite thick straight hair (I’m blessed). But somehow…my hair was dull, frizzy and coarse. Due to my negligence, my hair’s getting damaged and what worst could happened…they started falling out rampantly as I get older.

And until at this certain point, I started seeking out for help on preventing me from getting bald. I started eating healthy foods and distressed myself from works and life and most importantly…get enough sleep.

Yup…it works!

And to deal with my damaged and unmanageable hair, I started investing on a good hair care products. My look out for shampoos and conditioners which are free from Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), paraben and gluten. My preference is Verb Products brand, of course! (I did even blog about it before. Click here to read.)

As to top up my hair care routine, I pampered them with a hair mask. Yes, girls…hair needs to wear mask too!

So, I indulged myself into this multiple award wining Coco and Eve: Like A Virgin Hair Masque…which I never regret!

This hair masque is build in 5-in-1 formula that helps to repair my hair from inside-out. It:

  1. Revives dry and damaged hair caused by styling, heat, dyes and the environment;
  2. Restores hair to its pure state like it used to be;
  3. Repairs hair from the inside and out;
  4. Conditions from root to tip; and
  5. Tames frizz and split ends.

Each 212 ml hair masque contains:

Aqua (water), cetearyl alcohol, cocos nucifera (coconut) fruit extract, dimethicone, behentrimonium chloride, parfum, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, ficus carica (fig) fruit extract, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, shea butter ethyl esters, caryocar brasiliense fruit oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, hydrolyzed linseed extract, leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate, phenoxyethanol, cetrimonium chloride,potassium sorbate, ethylhexylglycerin, selaginella lepidophylla extract, saccharomyces/silicon ferment, saccharomyces/iron ferment, saccharomyces/magnesium ferment, saccharomyces/copper ferment, saccharomyces/zinc ferment, tocopherol, lactobacillus ferment, benzyl alcohol, benzyl salicylate, coumarin, limonene, linalool.

As you can see from the list, the key ingredients for this are:

  • Fig: moisturise and help detangle the hair;
  • Shea butter: moisturise and help detangle the hair;
  • Lin seed: improves the gloss and texture; and
  • Argan oil: treats split ends, tames frizziness.

And they proudly declare their hair masque are:

This a simple tutorial on applying the masque:

My verdict: This is a savior to my damaged hair. This masque is a bit pricey, i.e MYR 180 (USD 43.58) compared to any other drugstore hair masques you could find in local store, but it worth every Ringgit! I started seeing result right after my first use. The results are getting better and better after several usage.

My! Oh! My!

I couldn’t imagine how amazing my hair would be after a month of usage! Probably as silky smooth as the mulberry silk 😉

The masque has a pleasant subtle sweet coconutty fragrance which isn’t overpowering. It lingered until my next wash. The texture is thick and creamy and has a good level of slip. It easily distributed throughout my hair with the help from the tangle tamer brush which was provided in the package. I’m over satisfied with this purchase and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product to you, girls…if you want to stay away from hair misery.
