The Scholar Suites, Tanjung Malim, Perak

Hello lovelies…

I had experienced a pleasant stays at this suite while working outstation in Tanjung Malim, Perak this month. The suite is under the Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris, Perak corporation and the staffs are mainly the degree students who studied hotel management. They are as professional as the worrkers at any hotels you been stayed before…or probably better than them.

And talking about the foods…yaaassss!!! FLAVOURSOME!

I can’t talk more about the cost per night stay caused my stays were fully paid by my organization…but the accountant said they were value for money!

Am I going to come back to this suite in future?

HELL YES!

Hello lovelies…

Girls…you wouldn’t believe what happened today!

I flew to Terengganu State today for a meeting. Everything went well at the beginning. I woke in the morning, had a nasi lemak with octopus sambal at the nearby restaurant. Stomach feeling good…

Driving my car to the airport. Parked my car at the airport and flew to Terengganu Airport

And….

Shit happened!

I confidently left the airplane and rushed to the driver who was waiting for me outside the airport WITHOUT CARRYING OUT MY WORKING BAG!

My! Oh! My!

Guess I was so excited for the meeting, huh?

I only noticed that I left the bag as soon as I reached the meeting room!

I looked out for the Airlines call center from the internet, but unfortunately, the numbers weren’t working. So, I ended up calling the Terengganu Airport call center and lodged a report.

And so…I attended a meeting without my documents. But it’s ok, The meeting went well.

After the meeting adjourned, I rushed back to the airport to collect my bag. My bag is safe and all the items in the bag are there.

Phewww… What a day!

Save The Turtles!

Hello lovelies…

Early this month, I was given a task to report on one of the Malaysia’s turtle conservation & protection centre which is located at Pantai Kerachut, Penang.

I have to admit, this is a fun task I had ever experienced since I am an animal lover kinda  person and believe it or not…turtle is categorized in endangered or critically endangered species in the IUCN Red List. Which means…the future generations might or might not able to see this species, depending on how our today generation “care” about this species.

The centre is open daily from 10.00 am till 4.00 pm (UTC +8). You can either go to the centre by boat or hiking. In my case, a boat was already prepared for me & my team members at the jetty.

Awww…lucky me!

The centre has been established since 1990 by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia. The centre was build to save this species population from extinction.  In Penang, there are three (3) main beaches that are mainly the landing areas where this species come to lay eggs;

  1. Kerachut Beach;
  2. Telur Kampi Beach; and
  3. Teluk Ketapang Kecil Beach.

which are under Penang National Park.

There are two (2) turtle species that are commonly found in Kerachut Beach, Penang. They are:

  1. Green turtle (Chelonia mydas); and
  2. Olive ridley turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea).
