Cleo Aesthetic & Dermatology Clinic, Kuala Lumpur

Hello lovelies…

How are you girls been doing since the Covid 19 pandemic season?

It’s madness, I know…everybody’s freaking out on the virus spreading all around the world and most of us choose to self-quarantined at home rather than risking out lives by going out to public areas.

Today, I would like to share with you, girls on my skin treatment I had at the Cleo Aesthetic and Dermatology Clinic in Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur way before the the lock down took place in Malaysia.

Cleo Clinic was officially launched on 11th June 2019. This clinic is run by three (3) highly qualified aesthetic medical practitioners with humongous experiences in this field. They are:

  • Dr. Tan Choy Ling;
  • Dr. Raimie Rahmad; and
  • Dr. Ee Care Ling.
Dr. Tan Choy Ling

I went for a chemical skin peeling treatment early March this year. The treatment was operated by Dr. Raimie Rahmad. Before the treatment, he did a light briefing on the treatment procedures and a thorough check up on my skin condition to confirmed that the treatment would be suitable for me.

The chemical skin peel treatment is the best for those who has these skin problems;

  1. Acne;
  2. Fine lines and wrinkles;
  3. Rough skin texture;
  4. Dark spots;
  5. Melasma; and
  6. Hyperpigmentation.

The treatment is super fast and fret not…this treatment wouldn’t leave any side effects to the skin. It inevitably occurring acids and active ingredients for skin lightening. It also stimulates new cell growth and collagen production which helps the skin to look fresher, clearer and healthier.

The good thing about Cleo Clinic compared to any aesthetic clinics in Malaysia is that all the treatment available in here are affordable. You can either choose to pay for a single treatment or you can purchase the packages provided. My advise is…”GO FOR THE PACKAGES”.

It’s totally worth it!

Now…does it caught your attention, girls? Starts making a reservation today!

Let us all be glowing and bright as our future!

Hello lovelies…

I was jumping with joy this morning when I was announced as one of the five (5) lucky winner on Laneige’s Malaysia contest.

My! Oh! My!

That news did make me smile through out the day!

These are the contest rules:

Since I been living in Putrajaya and I have the Laneiges’ products, so why don’t I give it a try, right?

This is Palace of Justice which is located at Precint 3, Putrajaya Malaysia.

I remembered I took a shot of this picture during Deepavali celebration…right before I drove to Damansara for the Estee Lauder’s Workshop.

Who knew this simple camera phone shot could win the contest?

Thank You, Dear God ❤

5 Common Mistakes in Applying Sheet Mask

Hello lovelies…

A few months ago I blogged about a Korean sheet mask I discovered. I experimented the sheet mask on my face before I wrote about it. But, I just noticed that I had forgotten to share with you, girls on a few things that you have to avoid when you are using the sheet masks.

Yup, using a sheet mask seemed to be easy-peasy, but are you sure you are wearing the mask in the right way?

These common mistakes I’m about to share could negatively impact the results a sheet mask has on our skin.

  1. Wearing a mask without cleansing your face;
  2. Not prepping your cleansed face before applying the mask;
  3. Moisturizing your face before putting on the mask;
  4. Wearing the mask for too long; and
  5. Discarding the rest of the skincare routine after taking off the sheet mask.

Have you done any mistakes as I had mentioned? It’s time to change in to the right way, girls…

Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream

Hello lovelies…

We have all heard about the dangers of the sun, which could lead to skin cancer. A study shows one in five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer, and this number is growing due to increased ultraviolet exposure from the sun and tanning beds. Ask any doctors or any skin specialist…they would definitely insist you to wear sunscreen daily. By wearing sunscreen daily and over the days and months to shield your skin from the risk of various types of skin cancer, especially, melanoma. This is the worst type of skin cancers, which can be life threatening for women, particularly those who are in their 20s.

As that cancer frightened me, I decided to purchase Cosrx’s aloe soothing sun cream online. That was basically after I read a few recommendations from some of the beauty lovers I knew.

This cream is formulated with 5,500ppm of aloe leaf extract which not only protects our skin against UVA & UVB rays, but it moistens our skin. It is formulated with SPF 50+ PA+++ that blocks harmful rays from penetrating our skin and triggering skin disorders. This sun cream has light-weight texture, which absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling intensely hydrated without feeling greasy or looking flaky like some mineral sunscreens.

First thought…would this cream be compatible with my oily and sensitive skin?

After a few weeks applying this sunscreen on my face, my answer is… “YES! It is suitable for my sensitive skin”The texture is very hydrating and smooth. It doesn’t irritates my skin and it doesn’t leave any white cast upon application. I wouldn’t need to apply a makeup primer as my makeup goes on nicely over it.

The Cosrx’s aloe soothing sun cream ingredients are:

Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Isoamyl P-Methoxycinnamate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Alcohol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Butylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide, C14-22 Alcohols, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Aloe Arborescens Leaf Extract, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Peg-100 Stearate, Silica, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Aluminum Hydroxide, Stearic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium Edta.

Althea A’Bloom Moisturizing Watermelon Sheet Mask

Hello lovelies…

I read so many reviews on the Althea A’Bloom Moisturizing Watermelon mask sheet from Althea Angels. The reviews are all too good to be true which lead curiosity in me on how effective this product could be.

And so…I purchased the masks during the 10+10 mask promotion thru the Althea website.

This mask is claimed to pack a punch of hydration and moisturization for a juicy chok chok skin that bounce. It has the power of deep hydration with a concentrated charge of ampoule essence. Each sheet contains 25g of essence that instantly fuels up & locks moisture by building soft moisture film on the skin surface.

Clinique iD Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly

Hello lovelies…

The Clinique id Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly has become a hype ever since they entered Malaysia. Their existence has widespread even more as soon as those famous celebrities and influencers were sponsored to promote this moisturizer through their social media.

I swear I was not influenced by all those sponsored ads in the beginning.

Not at all.

Until that certain point when my face has become oilier than usual and the temptation of cutting down my daily skincare step’s routine. As for a working woman who loves sleeping, it’s not easy to get the best in both. So, the only way I could do is by saving less time with my morning skincare routine and putting on my makeup.

The Clinique iD Differently Dramatic Hydrating Jelly is a 2 in 1 skincare product that works as a serum and a moisturizer. The jelly gives 24 hours of hydration repair and it’s pollution protection. The texture is a non-greasy and weightless. It contains hyaluronic acid, that can hold onto water, leaving skin hydrated all day and it is suitable for all skin types.

My skin immediately absorbed the gel without feeling sticky. Sometimes, I stored this jelly in the refrigerator for a refreshing sensation.

There are five (5) types of active cartridge concentrate to choose, depending on your skin concerned:

  1. Orange: fatigue;
  2. White: uneven skin tone;
  3. Blue: pore and uneven skin texture;
  4. Green: irritation; and
  5. Purple: lines and wrinkles.

If you been reading my blogs all this while, you would have guess it right on which cartridge I chose.

Yup…the purple cartridge which is likely an anti-aging product.

The purple active cartridge concentrate which is commonly known as serum delivers concentrated actives, including Whey Protein to smooth lines and re-plump my skin.

A few pumps of this jelly goes a long way!

After using this jelly for about a month, I noticed my sebum has managed to control excessive oil production and my face doesn’t look look greasy like before. I used this jelly as my after-sun jelly to soothe my sunburned.

This 50ml jelly is in retails for MYR 166 (USD 39.86).
