Tarte Cosmetics Creaseless Concealer

Hello lovelies…

A few months ago, I did put a test and review on Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer. It took me more than six (6) months to finish the whole tube as I don’t have to reapply it during the day and yes…I don’t wear makeup daily.

As the concealer was about to come an end, I decided to look out for a new concealer from a different brand. It’s not that I already get bored to Maybelline, but the curiosity to try out the Tarte Cosmetics concealer.

The first thing that came out from my mind as I entered the Sephora store was to get the new Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. Unfortunately, during that time, the colour shade that matches my skin was unavailable.

So, I opted for the Tarte Creaseless Concealer.

Basically, the function of the Tarte Cosmetics creaseless concealer are as the same as any other concealers, i.e to cover redness, blemishes, hyperpigmentation and any skin discolouration. For my case, I usually use concealer to hide my dark circles and brighten up my eyes.

Vegan Friendly Icons

The Tarte Creaseless Concealer is a #flowerpowered vegan product that is formulated by:

  • Maracuja: rich in essential fatty acids & vitamin C for firmer, brighter, smoother skin & maximum skin hydration;

  • Vitamin E: natural preservative that also acts as an emollient and antioxidant;
  • Mineral pigments: soothe and soften skin; and
  • Free from Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Gluten.

The full ingredients of the concealer are:

(+/-): Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxides (CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499), yellow 5 lake (CI 19140).

What makes the Tarte concealer is different from the other concealers are:

  • Full-coverage;
  • 30 shades option;
  • Hypoallergenic;
  • Waterproof (which won’t crease and make it looks cakey);
  • Dermatologist tested; and
  • Hydrates undereyes for 16 hours.

OMG!!! 16 hours?

Girls…they are not kidding about it!

I applied the concealer before I went out for a fieldwork a few months ago and believe it or not, I didn’t even have to touch up in between hours. A single application is enough to save the day and it stays as it is.

The MYR 110 (USD 26.34) I spent on this 6.4 g concealer is TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Well..I’m not surprised when they claimed to be the America’s #1 concealer brand!

CLEOxDIOR Lip Makeover Party 2019

Hello lovelies…

I was so excited when Malaysian Cleo Magazine selected me to join their private Dior Lip Makeover Party.

Oh thank you, God!

This party was held in conjunction with Dior new launched lip glow lip balm and their new lip maximizer gloss. The event was from 18th – 19th February 2019 at Dior Boutique, Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There was four (4) lip makeover session for the attendees and I participated in the last session which was on 19th February at 2.30 pm. The session was attended by a few local celebrities and influencers too.

The session started with the lip makeover demonstration on my favorite radio DJ, Miss Maggy Wang.

After the demo, we are free to try out the new lip balm and gloss. There are seven (7) lip glow lip balm shades to choose which are:

201 Pink: light pink with a pearly finish
204 Coral: bright coral with a pearly finish
206 Berry: berry shade with a pearly finish
207 Raspberry: raspberry pink with a pearly finish
209 Holo Purple: light purple with a holographic finish
210 Holo Pink: bright coral pink with a holographic finish
212 Rosewood: rosewood with a pearly finish

The new Dior Addict Lip Glow revives color for fresh and radiant lips. It has color & glows dual action which boosted rosy effect to match any skin tone and the light-reflecting pearlescent pigments intensified glow. It contains mango butter to smoothes, softens and hydrates your lips for 24 hours.

The product itself is best to be paired with the Lip Maximizer to create shine and volume to the max. It is formulated with hyaluronic acid for powerful hydration and a volume-maximizing effect.

The lip maximizer shades are:

01 Pink: light pink with a pure shine
04 Coral: bright coral with a pure shine
06 Berry: plum with a pure shine
07 Raspberry: raspberry pink with a pure shine
12 Rosewood: rosewood with a pure shine
10 Holo Pink: bright coral pink with a glossy shine
09 Holo Purple: light purple with a glossy shine

To my surprised, Dior actually created eight (8) shades for this range, but the shade no.13 – Beige is only available in the USA.

For those who loves glossy & shiny lips, you should check this out!

I bet you gonna love it!

As for me, I’m more into matte lipsticks. Sorry, Dior :/

B.seen by B.liv I’m Wrinkle Eraser

Hello lovelies…

As my age has enter 30 series, I started noticing a few changes on my skin, especially my eyes area. To be honest, eye care routine was beyond my concern during my teenage and early adulthood stage. I skipped using eye cream and sometimes I slept with makeup on my face.

And now…I regret my negligence 😦

How I wish I can turned back time…

Noticing some fine lines and discoloration around my eyes area hit me like a lightning and since that day, I started looking out for a good eye cream that could erase my eye problems.

Recently, I purchased a B.seen by B.liv I’m a Wrinkle Eraser eye cream from an online shop. The retail price is MYR 127.36 (USD 30.82). Quite expensive, I know… but luckily I bought that for MYR 39 (USD 9.44).

That is huge different, right?

The bottle is in a lightweight silver plastic with an eyeball shaped lid. That’s look little bit scary tho’!

Oh well…Halloween is just around the corner, anyway! Maybe I could use that together with my Halloween costume :p

Hohoho…

This what the description a.k.a introduction of this product:

Injections, surgical, harsh and expensive treatments – these are the things that women over 35 don’t need to do to fade wrinkles and firm up the skin around the eye-area. I’m wrinkle eraser uses apple stem cells for their well known ability to make up for the cells that die during the aging process. Other key ingredients come to aid damaged cells and improve the skin’s elasticity. Make a pact with i’m wrinkle eraser and you’ll give back what you don’t need anymore, years off your face!

They claim that the product is non-cosmedogenic and hypoallergenic that helps to:

  1. lightens deep & crow’s feet wrinkles;
  2. lifts-up droopy eye lids;
  3. improves the elasticity of the skin;
  4. prevents hollow under eyes; and
  5. hydrates the skin.

The ingredients:

Water (Purified Aqua), Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis) Leaf Extract, Silica, Butylene Glycol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Placental Protein (Placenta Extract), Glycerin, Squalane, Apple (Malus domestica) Fruit Cell, Culture, n-Hydroxysuccinimide, Chrysin, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Oat (Avena sative) Kernel Extract, French Rose (Rosa gallica) Flower Extract, Damask Rose (Rosa damascene) Flower Oil, Galactoarabinan, Dioscorea Villosa (Wild Yam)Root Extract, Tea (Camellia oleifera) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Glucoside, Behenyl Alcohol, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Alaria Esculenta Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), Sodium Hyaluronate, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Fragrance.

The texture is like a lotion. Not too thick and not to watery like an essence. It’s fast absorbing and hydrated my skin without feeling sticky or greasy.

I love it!

And the smell is good, too!

After a few weeks of trying this product, I would say this product does hydrate my skin but I don’t see any effects on my fine lines and my dark circles.

Maybe the effects will show if I religiously using this until the last drop and till that day, I would decide about repurchase this item ever again.

Girls…what’s your favorite eye cream/gel/serum? Please share your opinion or suggestion in the comment below. I would love to hear from you 🙂

Peripera Pearly Night Inklasting Lavender Cushion

Hello lovelies…

A few weeks ago, there was a big sale on one of my favorite online shopping store, i.e Hermo. As for my friends who are not from Malaysia, Hermo is basically similar to Sephora, selling beauty and cosmetic products at a reasonable prices. Only that…they only works thru online.

As an average woman with average 9-5 hours monthly salary, I got super excited when sales going on but my bank account would probably unhappy with it (average girls problem, tho’).

I started to look around the items that were on sales and all of sudden, my eyes stopped at this Peripera’s Pearly Night Ink Lasting Lavender Cushion. Very weird,  Because I’m not a foundation kinda girl. I occasionally wear foundation and most I time, I would used the foundation I bought like for 5-10 times and I will passed them to my sisters before they expired (my sisters are lucky to have me…I know!).

The thing that attracted me to this Peripera’s lavender cushion has gotta be because of the packaging. Yeah…I’m suck at beautiful packaging. It is from the pearly night collection.

This BB cushion comes with SPF 50+ PA+++. It has brightening reflective board effect which may result:

  1. natural luminous dewy glow;
  2. buildable and non-cakey coverage; and
  3. long-lasting radiance.

This edition comes with three different shades, which are:

  1. Ivory (light)
  2. Beige (medium)
  3. Sand (deep)

Ohhh…I wish they could come with more shades 😦

I’m a medium tanned Asian woman (NC40) so I gave a shot on shade #3 sand.

Well…their darkest color still look to bright for me, tho’. I know most of Asian women wanted to look fair, but I’m the minority. I love to be tanned and this shade is definitely a NO! NO! for me.

Talking about the formula…I would say it is more like a medium coverage and it is not matte at all! It feels so lightweight on my skin. My skin glow after the application but in a long term, it does look more oily rather than glowy. It started to be a little bit cakey after a few hours of wearing and my laughing line started to cracked.

Maybe I laughed a lot…I don’t know, but I don’t like to see that 😦

Overall, I’m not fancy on this product, but…I might keep this just because of the packaging.

Hohoho…
