New Year, New You Beauty Event

Hello, lovelies…

Last Sunday (Jan.28th, 2018), I was invited to join a beauty event held at 115 Salon, in Bangsar Kuala Lumpur. The event was organized by Hannan Medispa & Kimarie Salon, in collaborations with Face & Co. and Madame Izara Cosmetics.

The event theme was “New Year, New You” in conjunction with celebrating the year 2018. The objective of the event was to build self-confidence and embrace our beauty because they believe that everybody was born beautiful in every way!

Motivational talk by the beautiful and confident Miss Lee Yvonne.

 

Miss Lee Yvonne, the Miss World Malaysia 2012 was invited to give a motivational talk on building inner confidence.

My! Oh! My!

I instantly fall in love with her after listening to her speech! Her speech is so inspiring and I believe it is genuine because they are all based on her own experiences. she’s a positive person and dares to challenge herself to be better. I mean…look at her now? I would say that she is a successful woman today and I bet she will be better and better in future. How I wish I could be confident in her!

 

Miss Intan Ilyani Ghazali, founder of Face & Co.

 

We were then were introduced to a new local cosmetics brand, Face & Co. The founder of this brand is Miss Intan Ilyani Ghazali and it was launched last year (2017).  The brand comes with a mineral liquid foundation which is formulated in the US. It’s matte and it contains UVB protection (SPF 30). It comes in two(2) shades, which are:

• Glow (for cool & reddish undertones); and
• Pure (for warm and yellow undertones)

During the event, we were given a makeup lesson by a famous makeup artist named Chot. He is using the Face & Co. foundations on both models and teaches us how to do a sweet and simple yet elegant day makeup.

The tutorial was completed by using the newly launched matte liquid lipstick brand from a famous local actress, Izara Aisyah, who is the founder of Madame Izara Cosmetics. The lipsticks come in three shades, which are, Luth (red), Noah(pink) and Harith(nude).

Hmmm…I wonder why she named all the products after men names? Obviously…men don’t wear makeup, right?

Before the event end, there was a lucky draw session but unfortunately, my lucky charm dolphin was not there with me. I didn’t win any prizes on that day 😦

It’s ok… at least I was having a good time, aite?

Hermo Malaysia Big Bang Surprise (Part 1)

Hello lovelies…

Hermo Malaysia is going to launch a new mascara!

Yeaaayyyy!!!!

Oh ya! Maybe some of you are unfamiliar with Hermo and wondering…what the heck is Hermo?

Hermo is a platform for Malaysian women to discover varieties of local and international beauty products at reasonable price. The product brands are 100% original and the products are tested and only the best quality products are sold by Hermo.

Bear in mind girls…this February 2018, a new mascara will be launch in Hermo website. What brand is the mascara?

I also don’t know lehhhh…

But if you ask me how good is the mascara? I definitely know how to answer that because I was among the first 25 women to try out the product.

Today, I attended a beauty secret blind test session hosted by Hermo. The session was held at Wisma Kemajuan, Petaling Jaya Selangor at 11.30 am.

During the registration, all the participants are given a letter of agreement which allow Hermo to post or publish images or videos of them for this occasion. And I believe all of us agreed on that…including me! Hohoho

The spokesperson for the session was Mr. Patrick. He gave us a clear briefing about the programme and giving us tips on mascara application.

We were given a survey form, a pink mirror and a box of the mystery mascara. Each of the participants gotta try the mascara and comment on that.

 

He gave a demo too on the right way to apply a mascara. And  my! oh! my! I became a model for the demo. Maybe because the ladies were to shy to volunteer to be the model for the demo…so they randomly selected me!

And so the the trial begins…

Majority of them were satisfied with the outcomes…and me too!

In my opinion, this mascara is the perfect choice for those who are looking for a volumizing and lengthening mascara. And it’s waterproof too! The brush is slim and flexible make it easy to apply, even on your down lashes. It won’t smudge, I swear! I would say this mascara is like every women dream mascara…aite?

Hmmm… I wonder what brand it is?

NYX Cosmetics 2017’s Christmas Collection

Hello lovelies…

I got an opportunity to join NYX Cosmetics 2017’s Christmas Collection Private Event yesterday. The event was held at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya and the invitation was by selection.

My! Oh! My! Lucky me…

I am a NYX Cosmetics fan. I mean…that’s the first counter I would look for every time I enter Sephora Store. Maybe you can say because the products are cheap, but trust me…the quality is much much better than some of the high end brands I had ever tried.

This collection comes in six (6) elements eyeshadow palettes, which are:

1. Metal
2. Wind
3. Fire
4. Air
5. Earth
6. Water

The models who represent the palettes were donned in avant garde makeup by the famous Los Angeles / New York makeup artist, Mr. Roshar. I know right? It is an honour to be donned by Mr. Roshar who worked with famous celebrities, such as Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue…right?

The collection is estimated to be in Malaysia in October 2017 and it’s a limited edition collection. So beauties…don’t forget to add all these palettes into your makeup collection, ok?

EH! x L’Occitane Workshop 2017

Hello lovelies!

Last Saturday (11th March 2017), I was invited to the EH! x LÓccitane Malaysia Workshop 2017 in Connexion, Bangsar.

Wow..I considered myself as lucky as Britney Spears to get the chance to attend such an informative workshop. The EH! Magazine invited Ms. Jenny Yap, the L’Occitane training manager who flew all the way from Singapore just to brief us on the L’Occitane new Reine Blanche range.

I’m a L’Occitane user but only on body range. Never tried any LÓccitane facial range before but I bet the facial range won’t be depressing cause the body range products works like a miracle!

The registration starts at 10 am.

                 

Yummy refreshments were provided before the session start. Looks like a heaven for those sweet tooth peoples..and thank you EH! Magazine for serving sushi too!

Benefit Cosmetics Malaysia Eyebrow Tinting

This is my first time experiencing the eyebrow tinting. Eyebrow tinting is a natural procedure for eyebrow hair coloring using henna. This might be useful for those who’s having thin eyebrow. 

Since i’m having a short eyebrow problem, I decided to give it a try. Wasn’t plan for that at first…was planning to trim my eyebrow at the Benefit Cosmetics outlet in Midvalley Megamall, but yeah…those Benefit Cosmetics makeup artist eyebrow did caught my attention (plus..she’s good in doing sales…hohoho). When she said “you don’t have to do your eyebrow everyday” that’s a highlight, girl! I don’t like to wake up early in the morning and put on makeup before going to the office and…I’m sucks in drawing the eyebrows. Eyebrow tinting is a good choice to solve my problem for this couple of weeks since it lasts for two weeks.
